Introducing Wasabi, the best place in town to get your Sushi (at least accdng to TimeOut and TripAdvisor):
The sushi here is by far the best in Abu Dhabi, and probably tops anything found across the UAE.
Based purely on taste, Wasabi is excellent, but the authenticity of the experience makes it a thoroughly commendable place to eat.
While most wasabi found outside Japan these days is an artificial creation of horseradish, mustard and green food colouring, this restaurant is as close to the real thing as you’ll find outside Tokyo.
From the clean-cut decor and modern lines, to the booths with sliding doors and slippers for customers so they can leave their shoes in the hallway, this tiny restaurant offers an originality and flair that most five-star establishments can’t match.
Apart from that, Mungkey and I have taste our fair share of Chinese / Japanese / Korean Restos, even from our hometown,
but if there’s anything that sets this place apart, it has to be their sake.
Though it is a bit hard to get to at the moment because of the road construction, we really took the time to trace the place for this boy cant resist his raw fish & Salmon eggs ^^
